Collective Influence: Last Week to Visit this Exhibit

Gallery Open: Tuesday - Saturday 12 P.M. - 7 P.M. through August 10

Blue Pomegranate is: Joni Pienkowski, Mary Irwin Moore, Jennifer Hand, Sandra Kennedy, Wonjung Jung, and Allison Keys.

L to R:  Joni Pienkowski (painting) Allison Keys (ceramics) Wonjung Jung (collage and drawing)

Blue Pomegranate's work includes pottery, collage, mixed media, and drawing.  I found grouping the artwork based on color connections to be the best way to display the influences each artist has on one another.

L to R: Sandra Kennedy (pastel) Joni Pienkowski (mixed media)

I'm only giving you a hint of what is here so that you have to come in to look closer...

Jennifer Hand's drawings being viewed by community members.

                                                                                and also this family.

All of the artist's work in this exhibit make a statement about "sense of place."  It is this connection to where each artist is at the moment that anchors the exhibit into a cohesive unit.  Understanding sense of place helps us to create strong communities, because we understand the importance of where we are in the moment and how we are all connected.  Come on by and see what I mean.  You have 5 more days.
