It took about 11 hours, but it was done before our scheduled opening at 10 a.m. Saturday morning.
I had an idea of what I wanted. Less is more, everything means something. It is the small things in life we need to stop and see...to stop and sense.
Visitors to the exhibit are asked to contribute a drawing using oil pen on smooth stone to the ever-growing spiral being built on the floor of the gallery. This is what it looked like on Sunday evening.
On the walls around the gallery are dragonfly strands, created on April 16, 2010 during the Expressions of Remembrance session led by Rebecca M. Ronesi here at Squires Student Center.
I was especially intrigued with the shadows the dragonflies left on the walls.
